Jiu-Jitsu Players Welcome!
West Coast BJJ Submission Championship:
none"">
The “Large Edition” West Coast Submission Championship took place last Saturday at Harry
Bishop elementary school in Surrey B.C. This
was the biggest and best Submission only tournament ever held on the West Coast
and featured for the first time both Gi and No-Gi divisions. The turn out was tremendous with over 100
competitors fighting it out with close to 300 match’s; all vying to become the
West Coast Submission champion in this unique round robin style tournament .
Not only was there a ton of fights but the tournament organization again was
top quality with all matchs completed in under 4 hours! Competing in this
tournament is no easy feat as competitors can have up to 10 match’s all with
very little rest! A Big congratulations goes out to all those who came out and
put their butts on the mat, everyone did great and showed what a class act the
local BJJ scene is.
